Keep the supplied panel order

Carefully unpack the panels and arrange them in the exact numbered sequence. Confirm the full run before attaching anything to the wall.

Stand panels securely on a protected surface and keep the decorative faces safe from knocks and drilling dust.

Set the finished panel height

Lay one panel face down on a clean, protected surface and hook both hanging rails into the machined channels on the rear.

Position the tape measure 10mm below the bottom edge of the panel. Measure upwards to the top edge of each hanging rail and record both measurements.

These two measurements determine the positions of the two wall tracks.

Match the tracks to the panel joints

Lay the wall tracks across the rear or protected face of the panel run. Mark each panel joint and choose fixing positions that will not clash with those joints.

For a wall finishing into internal corners, leave the required track clearance at each end.

Mark two continuous level lines

Transfer both rail measurements to one end of the wall. Use a laser or spirit level to continue each mark across the full fitting area.

For a full-room layout, establish the datum from the highest point of the floor so the panels stay aligned around the room.

Fit the tracks with the supplied kit

Drill the marked track positions with the supplied 4mm bit. Hold the tracks on the level lines and transfer those positions to the wall.

• Drill the wall holes with the supplied 6mm masonry bit.
• Insert the supplied universal wall plugs.
• Use the supplied screws and driver bit to secure the tracks.
• Lightly tighten at first so the tracks can still be adjusted.

Pack out wall variation

Start with 6mm packers behind the fixing points. Use a long straight edge across the track and a spirit level vertically on its face.

Add or remove packers until both tracks are level, straight and aligned in the same plane. Only then fully tighten every fixing.

If the wall is badly bowed, the track can be allowed to follow the shape of the wall, provided the track remains level along its full length.

Hang the full run without adhesive

Hang every panel on the two tracks in its numbered order. Check the overall height, alignment, corner fit and joint spacing.

Make any track or packer adjustments now. When the run is correct, remove every panel except the first.

Work one joint at a time

Check that the loose connecting tongue is correctly located. Hang the next panel, bring the two edges together and fully engage the tongue without forcing the decorative faces.

Continue in sequence, checking the face and joint after every panel.

Use adhesive only on the tongue

Where required, apply a small, controlled bead of suitable adhesive to the face of the loose connecting tongue before bringing the next panel into place.

The Hook-On rails remain the main wall-fixing system. The adhesive only helps prevent movement at the connecting joint. Wipe away any excess immediately.
